Context
Unilever Food Solutions was developing Future Menus across multiple international markets. The team needed a robust view of operator behaviour to inform both the product and the way it would go to market.
Signal
A large research programme created a wide field of data. The valuable work was finding the patterns within it and translating those patterns into choices that different teams could act on.
Decision
I focused the analysis on behaviour and unmet needs rather than producing research for its own sake. I worked across functions to connect the findings to product strategy and go-to-market recommendations.
Work
- Helped lead a global research programme spanning multiple markets.
- Analysed evidence from 12,000 participants.
- Translated operator behaviour into practical product and go-to-market recommendations.
- Presented findings for cross-functional use.
Outcome
The recommendations fed directly into Future Menus product strategy and go-to-market planning. The project reinforced a principle I have used since: the value of research is measured by the quality of the decision it enables.
What this demonstrates
This work shows how I turn research at scale into decisions that product and go-to-market teams can use.
